Hi, friend! I’m Cassandra—a Brooklyn-based artist, designer, and illustrator.
My work is deeply rooted in my experience as a Filipino-American, serving as a way to navigate and express the layers of diasporic identity. Through illustration, storytelling, and my product line, We Are Sun-Raised, I’ve found healing and empowerment in capturing everyday Filipino experiences. My hope is that by creating work where others can see themselves, I can foster greater self-acceptance and inspire people to embrace and celebrate their communities.
Beyond my art, I’m a Design System Lead and Senior Product Designer at an education technology design agency. I love collaborating with educators and students to build accessible, scalable, and engaging tools that enhance learning—because educators truly are our modern-day superheroes.
